Last month at my downline meeting, Kelly provided us with this darling gift card holder as her project.
Isn't it cute? We used the Gift Card Envelope & Trim thinlit dies to cut out the envelope as well as the "to/from" tag.
I stamped the tree from the Festival of Trees stamp set in Garden Green ink and then stamped the ornaments in Cherry Cobbler ink on top. I punched it out with the coordinating Tree Punch. I punched a second tree out of Wild Wasabi card stock and layered that behind the stamped tree. I added dimensionals between the two trees. The strip of DSP is from the Trim the Tree DSP stack.
Here's a look at the back of the gift card holder. The two Cherry Cobbler circles were cut out using the Thinlit set. They were attached to the envelope using Silver Mini Brads. The brads were attached loosely to the envelope so there would be room under the Cherry Cobbler Circles for the Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine to wrap around.
This project was such a breeze to put together. If you love to give gift cards as gifts, this is a must have for your collection. Change the colors used and the DSP and you'll have a great gift card holder for any occasion. Be sure to order yours today. Thanks for stopping by!
