I'm a bit behind in my stamping right now. It's not that I haven't been stamping, it's that I haven't had time to sit down at my computer and share what I've been making. To start with, I thought I'd share this simple card I made for my recent downline swap.
The base of the card is the new Watermelon Wonder card stock that was cut out using the scalloped square from the Square Framelits. The Soft Sky layer measures 4" x 4". The Whisper White layer is actually the part that opens up into the card. It measures 3 3/4" x 7 1/2" and it's scored at 3 3/4".
I *love* this new Ronald McDonald House charity stamp set--Sprinkles of Life. It's such a versatile stamp set. I used the stamp set along with the coordinating Tree Builder punch for my card. I wanted the scene to be a little more realistic so I added a strip of Cucumber Crush card stock at the bottom and cut it with the Fringe Scissors so it looked like grass. I finished off the tree with an In Color Blossom Accent. The card is very simple, and I love the way it turned out.
