I'm so excited about today's post! Have you ever heard of a stair step card? I recently learned how to make one so I thought I'd share it with you.
This was my second swap card that I made for the Control Freak swap at convention. It was a little more involved than your typical card simply because I added so many small punched out pieces.
I made 16 of these cards. I know, I'm crazy! I had people on my Facebook page guess how many small pieces were involved in making this card. I think the final answer was 752.
As you can see, it's decorated on both sides and on top of each of the steps. I wanted to post this project sooner, but I knew I'd be bombarded with people asking for the pattern. So I made a video tutorial as well as a downloadable pattern!
If you get an error saying "video no longer available," try refreshing your screen (F5).
I hope you enjoy making these boxes. If you make one, please leave a comment below with a link to your project so that I can check it out. As always, thanks for stopping by!
