This is my first year sending out LOTS of Christmas cards. Usually I will send out no more than 10 cards to close friends and loved ones. This year, however, my list grew quite a bit. With so many deadlines and activities around the holidays, I decided to keep my cards simple so that I could stamp as many as I needed.
See what I mean? No bulky layers, no ribbon, no embellishments, etc. I still think he turned out pretty cute though. If you don't recognize the snowflakes from any stamp set in the catalogs, it's because they're from one of the new Photopolymer stamp sets (Endless Wishes). I'm thrilled that Stampin' Up! has started offering Photopolymer stamps. I'm hoping they offer a lot more in future catalogs.
The most difficult part of this card was not losing any of the stamps. I have the clear mount stamp set, so once the images are detached from the acrylic blocks they are *tiny*. Of course I lost the stamp that has the three buttons on it that I stamped on his chest. I searched for over 15 minutes tearing my stamp desk apart. Finally somebody else looked at my stamp desk and found it in under a minute. Phew! I could lie and tell myself that I'll keep my stamp desk cleaner so this won't happen again, but let's be honest--that'll never happen!
I'm off and running. I have a card swap that I need to do and get in the mail before Christmas or it won't get done in time. Thanks for stopping by!
