I've lost my stamp desk, can you help me find it?

This is what I'm staring at as I'm trying to reorganize my stamp room.  Some of the piles on my desk are over a foot and half tall.  UGH!   I'm giving myself through this weekend to get it all organized.  Come Monday morning, whatever is on my desk is going in a box and into the garage because I have some stamping to do!

I have several projects to share with you, but they all require tutorials.  Due to my inability to find my desk top, I haven't been able to make the tutorials.   I usually don't like to post projects and then make you wait for a tutorial.  Today, however, I've decided to tease you with one of the projects. 

Isn't he cute?  I absolutely love this little bookmark.  It makes me smile every time I see it.  He's made with several different punches from Stampin' Up!   I will be back with the tutorial so you can make your own robot bookmark or put him on a card.

Ghoulish Googlies

One of the projects I have been working on over the past couple of weeks is organizing my stamp room.  I mean a good, deep cleaning.  I have stuff in here that I've forgotten I purchased.  Not good!  I bought this stuff to be used, not hoarded.  I'm pulling stuff out of here that I don't ever use to try to make room for the stuff I use all the time.  It will take me months to finish organizing because I only have snippets of time here and there to work on it.

Today I decided to take a break, shove everything on my stamp desk to the side, and stamp.

Ornament Keepsakes Card

Wow, it has been a while since I posted.   Like everybody else, my life has been non-stop.  We've been dealing with colds, school, homework, wisdom teeth extraction, complications from wisdom teeth surgery, birthdays, traveling out of town, etc.  I'm hoping to catch my breath and settle down into a routine now that the kids are all on the mend and back in school.

A few weeks ago I participated in a Control Freak Christmas card swap.  Here's the card that I made.

You can't see it well in the photo, but there are three of the ornaments stamped, die-cut, scored down the middle, and glued together. The great part about having three ornaments is that it can be folded flat so it still fits in an envelope for mailing.

When I got the swap cards back in the mail, I noticed that several other group members paired the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set with the Holiday Frame Embossing Folder.  They work really well together to create elegant cards.

I finished off the inside of my card with a splash of color from my stitched satin ribbon (current on special!).  Quick and easy.  Thank so much for stopping by!
