Today I'm back to show you how to make the scalloped flower on the left side of this card.
To make this flower you need the following supplies:
- Snail Adhesive
- Bone Folder
- 1 circle punched out of scrap cardstock (I used a 1 1/4" circle)
- Four 2 3/8" scalloped circles punched out of designer series paper
Step 1: Take the first scalloped circle and place it in front of you. Whichever side is facing up will be on the inside of the flower. Count out six of the scallops along the edge. Fold the six scallops up and crease a line with your bone folder. If you look at the photo below you will see that there are six scallops showing the vanilla side of the designer series paper.
Step 2: Fold the scalloped circle in half by taking the left side and folding it on top of the right side. Crease it with a bone folder.
Step 3: Open the scalloped circle as seen in the photo below.
Step 4: Take the bottom right edge of the scalloped circle and fold it up so that it meets the score line down the center. Crease it with a bone folder.
Step 5: Repeat step four with the left side of the scalloped circle. Although it doesn't look like it in the photo below, the two edges should meet in the middle. The edges on mine meet, they just decided to open up while I was taking the photo.
Step 6: Repeat steps one through five with the other three scalloped circles.
Step 7: Cover the punched circle with SNAIL adhesive. Take one of the folded scalloped circles and adhere it to the punched circle. It should cover about 1/4 of the punched circle. It doesn't have to be exact.
Step 8: Take the second folded scalloped circle and adhere it next to the first one.
Step 9: Adhere the last two folded scalloped circles in place and it's done!
