Sorry to go MIA yesterday. I wasn't feeling well and I didn't make it into my stamp room. I sat down this morning to stamp when I got a phone call--from my brother in Afghanistan!!! Instead of stamping, I talked with him for over an hour. It was so nice to hear his voice again. He's doing very well and is so excited to come home in about 5 weeks. No, he hasn't received the package yet with all of the birthday cards you sent. I'll let you know when he gets it though.
Since I don't have a new project to show, I thought I'd show you the gift I made for people who attended my open house.
Each baggie is filled with an assortment of die-cut shapes from the Big Shot. These will make great accents on cards, scrapbook pages, etc. All of the shapes are cut from Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy, and Baja Breeze cardstock so they would coordinate with the Urban Garden DSP that I used for the bag topper.
The bag topper itself is made from the Top Note Bigz Die--a die that's exclusively sold by Stampin' Up! The words "thank you" were cut from the Naturally Serif die. I think it's safe to say that I *love* my new Big Shot. You'll definitely be seeing me use it on lots of upcoming projects.
I hope you have a wonderful day today. It's my birthday this weekend so I'm in a mood to celebrate. I want to share some of that excitement with you, so be sure to check back tomorrow for an exciting announcement. Thanks for stopping by! ~Dannie
