My brother is getting married in February and he asked me to make his wedding invitations. I went for a simple design so I could quickly make them during the busy holiday season.
In blotting out some of the personal information, it slightly distorted the look of the invitations. Here's what it looks like behind the vellum.
Like I said...very simple. The base is a 5" x 7" piece of Real Red card stock, then a Basic Black layer, and white on top. I stamped one of the images from Carte Postale twice in Mellow Moss ink and that's it!
I'm in various stages of completion on all 200 of these. I just got my last shipment of Real Red card stock today so I can finish that part. Now I'm just waiting for my vellum to be delivered so I can print it and cut it. All the ribbon is already cut and ready to be put on the cards.
Two down, 198 more to go. Wish me luck!
If I don't post much next week, now you know why. I'm either finishing up these wedding cards or enjoying time with my family. With the kids home from school for a couple of weeks, stamping time may be hard to come by.
