For the first time since I started my blog years ago, I actually have a PILE of projects to share with you. Usually I stamp in the morning and then share what I made in the afternoon. Not this time. I have been busy stamping and even creating video tutorials (yes, more than one!). I am in the process of editing the videos, so stay tuned. I have some fun stuff to share with you.
Even though it's September, I'm still in denial that summer is gone and fall is upon us. I'm hoping that stamping with some of the new fall stamp sets will help my brain switch gears and get me in the mood for fall. I used the new Fall Fest stamp set and the coordinating Framelits to make this Halloween card for a recent Control Freaks card swap.
I love that I didn't have to cut each of these out by hand. It would have taken such a long time. I used the Confetti Stars Punch to punch the stars in the Basic Black card stock and then I layered it on So Saffron card stock so it would look like stars shining at night.
I used my Fringe Scissors to cut grass in the Old Olive card stock. I attached the two pumpkins in the back behind the grass and then popped the pumpkin in front up on a dimensional. I finished the card off with this "scary" ghost that I popped up on dimensionals as well.
For the inside of my card I switched around the Basic Black and So Saffron layers. That way I didn't have to write the sentiment on Basic Black card stock. Then again, I could have pulled out my Stampin' Chalk Marker to write in white on black. Oh well, the card is already made. Next time.
Be sure to check back as I share more projects from my stash. Thanks for stopping by!
