One of the many projects I had to get done before convention was my card swap for my monthly downline meeting. It was the perfect opportunity to play with the new In Colors and DSP that I ordered.
See how pretty they are? The base of the card is the new Blackberry Bliss card stock. I ran it through the Big Shot to cut it out using the scalloped square framelit die.
The Old Olive layer is the actual "card" that opens. I started with a piece of Old Olive card stock that measures 3 3/4" x 7 1/2" and I scored it at 3 3/4". I decorated the front of the card with the new Park Lane DSP and the new Blackberry Bliss Satin Ribbon. The flower was made using the new Flower Frame Framelits and the small flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack. All of the flower layers were popped up on dimensionals to give it some depth.
I intentionally left the space on the yellow DSP blank so that I can stamp whatever sentiment I'd like when I'm ready to mail this card to someone. This was such a fun layout to work with, so don't be surprised if you see it again on my blog. Thanks for stopping by!
