Have you checked out the retiring stamp set list and the retiring accessories list? Some of these items are going fast! I was a little sad to see that some of the stamps I've bought and haven't even used yet are on the list. So I pulled out my Worth the Wait stamp and inked it up.
Can you believe this cute stamp is retiring?
I stamped the image in Pear Pizzazz ink and then punched it out with the 1 3/4" Circle punch. I stamped it again in Blushing Bride ink and then cut out the shell of the turtle. I adhered it to the Pear Pizzazz image using a dimensional. I created the heart by using the clover punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (also retiring!). I punched out the clover and then cut off two of the petals to make a heart like this.
I finished it off by adding a rhinestone. I added a few layers of card stock behind the turtle and then adhered it to the card using dimensionals.
I used the Stripes Embossing Folder on the inside of the card just like I did on the front. The only difference is that I made the stripes about an inch tall on the inside of the card so there would be plenty of room to write.
I decided to make a baby boy card too. This image is so cute and it works for either gender.
Since it's for a boy, I left off the largest flower layer that I used on the baby girl card. I still added the heart and rhinestone though.
The inside of the card looks just like the baby girl card except I used Marina Mist instead of Blushing Bride.
As I said before, these items are going fast. Hurry and get yours before they are gone for good. Thanks for stopping by!
