I hope you guys are having a wonderful holiday season. For some reason it doesn't feel like the holidays to me yet. I'm hoping it will kick in soon because Christmas is two weeks away. That will be here before I know it. Maybe I should start baking. That usually does it for me.
The other day I sat down to make some swap cards for a group I joined. Here's what I came up with.
I used an assortment of paper from the Festival of Prints DSP. Each of the sheets in the pack is 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" so I could only make one card per piece of DSP.
I cut out the center of the Cherry Cobbler card stock using the Window Frames Collection Framelits. Then I ran the card stock through the Big Shot using the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder to give it some texture. I used dimensinals to attach the card stock to the DSP. I stamped the tree and the star on Whisper White card stock, cut them out using the Holiday Collection Framelits, and attached them using dimensionals.
For the inside of the card I used the leftover piece of DSP that I cut off from the front of the card. I finished the card by adding the sentiment. These were pretty easy to make and I loved the way they turned out. Thanks for stopping by!
