I'm back to show you the last two make and take projects, both of which feature the You're Amazing stamp set.
I stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla card stock and then cut it out using the Apothecary Accents Framelits Die. Before I attached it to the card front, I took the coordinating piercing template from the Essentials Paper-piercing pack and centered it on the front of the card. Once I had it lined up, I pierced all of the holes.
I stamped and punched out all of the tickets with the Ticket Duo punch. I stacked 3-4 of them on top of each other and punched a 1/16" hole at the top of all of them. I took a piece of Linen Thread and threaded it through a needle. I used the needle to thread the Linen Thread through all of the holes at the top of the tickets. I punched a 1/16" hole in both ends of the Very Vanilla card stock, tied each end of the Linen Thread through the holes, and then tied them in a bow. I used half a dimensional to hold each of the tickets in place. After all of that was done, I attached the sentiment to the card base using dimensionals.
The small hearts attached to the Early Espresso tickets were made from the four petaled flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch pack. On the left (in the photo above), you can see the punched out flower. To make the heart, simply cut off two of the petals as shown on the right side of the photo.
The last make and take project features the 12" x 12" divided page protectors. The top left pocket has a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper as the base. On top of that is a piece of First Edition Specialty DSP that I stamped the balloon images on. I stamped a separate balloon in Primrose Petals ink on Very Vanilla card stock, cut it out, and attached it with dimensionals to the outside of the page protector.
The middle pocket on the left is a piece of the Natural Composition Specialty DSP. It's blank so that you can add a photo on top.
The bottom left pocket is similar to the top one. The elephant is stamped on a separate piece of paper, cut out and attached with dimensionals to the outside of the page protector. The dahlia is also attached to the outside. I used my Paper Snips to cut the fringe on the Primrose Petals card stock.
The bottom right pocket is a little book. It's made of a piece of Natural Composition Specialty DSP folded in half with several pages of Very Vanilla on the inside. I punched two 1/16" holes in the "binding" of the book. I threaded some linen thread through the holes to keep all of the pages together and tied it in a bow.
The top right pocket is pretty self-explanatory. Again, the dahlia is attached to the outside of the page protector. If you have any questions or want any more details on these projects, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for stopping by!
