Today I wanted to show you the gorgeous card Mary provided for our downline meeting on Saturday.
Isn't that pretty? The hit of the entire meeting was the butterfly on this card. Here's a closer look.
The butterfly was cut out of Whisper White cardstock using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die. Mary taught us how to do the Blown Glass technique to turn our white butterfly into this gorgeous colorful butterfly. This picture simply doesn't do it justice.
I know you're going to ask me for directions on how to do this technique, but I can't share them. This came from a tutorial that Mary purchased from another stamper. She received permission to teach us the technique, but not to share the tutorial. You can find a link to purchase the tutorial here.
As usual, I kept the same basic layout for the inside of my card. It looks so plain when compared to the gorgeous butterfly, doesn't it? I'll be back to show you the project I provided for my downline meeting. Thanks for stopping by!
