So often I think we (myself included) forget to tell people thank you. I have been trying harder to not only express my gratitude, but to show it as well with a hand-made card or gift. I have a couple of members in my downline who I wanted to thank for all they do, so I made them "thank you" candles.
I got these candles at The Dollar Store and I decorated them with Designer Series Paper and some ribbon. I also used a piece of Pewter Hodgepodge Hardware to frame the words. The hardware comes flat, but it bent easily to shape of the candle.
I threaded some ribbon around the edges of the hardware and tied off the ends with Linen Thread.
I wanted to buy some red candles, but the store was sold out. I think they would look wonderful in this same design, but using the Dashing Designer Series Paper and the Wide Red Grosgrain ribbon.
